Progress on the Research II

Part II.
Moving on from murals that relates to religion, I found an artist that creates murals for profit (not in a bad way). He’s known as Poh B.S. I don’t really know his full name, neither about his art background nor his aspiration in creating such murals. All I know is that he continued on doing what he loved best at his later part of his life, after being busy concentrating on his job with a publishing company and his family. He has sold quite a number of paintings.
His paintings can be seen from the Moni Gallery webpage:
Other than artist who makes profits, there was the other artist who did a mural at one of the North East Line Mrt stations; Buangkok Station to be exact. The mural titled Water, Nature and the Contemporary by Vincent Leow.

Vincent Leow is one of Singapore’s contemporary artist, an early member of The Artists Village (TAV), and the founder of Plastique Kinetic Worms (PKW). He has done various types of works, from performances, to installations, sculptures, digital and mixed-media.
At this stage, I’m still trying to find out what the artist’s inspiration was. However, I’ve found another site where I think that the team can get his contact.

After I found the site about Vincent Leow created the mural at one of the NEL stations, I started searching for other artists that created their murals in the other stations. Finding and knowing about the murals was one of the objective that the team want to focus on. Not only that, one of team member (Izzudin) has a book on the NEL which would give the team a better understanding of the murals displayed. However, for now, this research is still at its surface.
This is a Wikipedia site about the NEL: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_East_MRT_Line
